English / Spanish Simultaneous Translation for Yehuda Berg’s 1st visit to Puerto Rico
San Juan, Puerto Rico – October 2010- Lighthouse Translations had the opportunity to participate in this long awaited event, organized by the Puerto Rico Kabbalah Group, by providing simultaneous Spanish translation /Puerto Rico translator and equipment services. The group contacted us several weeks prior to the event and we quickly were able to to work with the group to ensure that this event would turn out to be something special. We provided both the simultaneous translation equipment as well as the Puerto Rico translator / interpreter.
Rabbi Yehuda Berg’s first visit to Puerto Rico was in front of a 700+ audience at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. His speech was simultaneously translated from English into Spanish. Yehuda’s visit coincided with the recent release of his book The Power to Change Everything, into Spanish.

Our local Puerto Rico translator (interpreter) was able to prepare ahead of time by reading the English and Spanish version of the Power to Change Everything.
PLENTY OF TRANSLATION STAFF TO FACILITATE HANDING OUT OF WIRELESS TRANSLATION HEADSETS FOR PUERTO RICO TRANSLATOR / TRANSLATION OF PRESENTATION BY YEHUDA BERG
Lighthouse Translations had 4 staff members on site, along with volunteers, to ensure that the wireless simultaneous translation headsets were distributed quickly and that any audience member who wished to hear the simultaneous translation from English into Puerto Rican Spanish of Yehuda’s speech could do so.
Audience is very pleased with Spanish translation services provided by Puerto Rico Translator and Lighthouse Translations.
We were very fortunate to have several audience members share their comments with us when they were returning their headsets. They were very impressed with the quality of the translation of the Puerto Rico translator and felt as if it had been given in Spanish and not in English. For many audience members, this was their first experience with simultaneous translation and were left with a very positive impression of it.

San Juan, Puerto Rico – Lighthouse Translations provided French<>Spanish simultaneous translation services at the French Caribbean Encounter event, sponsored by the Fundacion Cultural and held at the Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe.
Scholars from all over the Caribbean come to Puerto Rico
This wonderful event had the participation of scholars from Puerto Rico as well as from Haiti, Guadalupe and Martinique and provided a wealth of information regarding the past and present of both Puerto Rico and several of the French-Speaking Islands in the areas of History, Anthropology, Archeology and Literature. The translation service offered allowed francophone speakers to present in their native language while the audience fully understood and participated during the sessions.

Lighthouse Translations selected for Latin Billboards 2010
Lighthouse Translations selected as Translation and Interpretation Services Provider for the Latin Billboards 2010 to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
We will be providing document translation services for the Latin Billboard website as well as simultaneous interpretation / translation services during the Conference portion of this 3-day event. This is the first time that the Latin Billboards are held outside of Miami, FL.

English – Spanish simultaneous translation services offered at COCAL 2010 in San Juan Puerto Rico
San Juan, Puerto Rico - March 2010. Lighthouse Translations had the honor of working with COCAL 2010 by providing conference translation, Puerto Rico translation, services and conference translation equipment rental. This event brought to Puerto Rico the top executives in the PCO, DMZ, DMO arena from Latin America. Participants came from as far south as Chile all the way North to Mexico and Canada.
Simultaneous translation for English <> Spanish was provided for visiting delegations
COCAL 2010 lasted 3 days and was held at the recently built Sheraton Convention Center Hotel and Casino. The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau, along with several other Puerto Rico agencies, served as the hosts to the visiting delegations. The Spanish, Puerto Rico, translation services was provided to facilitate the communication and understanding among the conference attendees.
The program had several English speakers for which our translation services were provided to those attendees that desired it.

English / Spanish Simultaneous Translation Beauticontrol’s Vision 2010 Event – San Juan Puerto Rico
Lighthouse Translations provides simultaneous translation services for Beauticontrol Vision 2010
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Spring 2010 This standing-room only event (900+ guests) had as Keynote speaker none other than the CEO of Topperware (BeautyControl’s parent company), Rick Goings.
Lighthouse Translations was selected to provide English to Spanish simultaneous puerto rico translation.
Of the 900 participants, close to 600 used the simultaneous translation services. The Lighthouse Translations team was able to quickly distribute the translation headsets to ensure that the event started on time, and had enough personnel on hand to quickly retrieve the headsets and return IDs to the attendees.
